White Rock BIA President Takes Leave of Absence

White Rock, BC:  White Rock Business Improvement Association President Lynne Sinclair has taken a leave of absence from her position in order to seek election as a City of White Rock Councillor in the upcoming municipal election.  Sinclair was recently re-elected President at the White Rock BIA’s Annual General Meeting.

“I am really looking forward to the discussion of issues that matter to White Rock voters,” President Sinclair said.  “I love White Rock and hope I get a chance to work with the new Council for the betterment of our community.”

Sinclair is a lifelong resident of White Rock and a former City of White Rock Councillor.  She also serves as a Director of Semiahmoo Arts and Vice Chair of the Seniors Come Share Society.

“She will be greatly missed,” said BIA Vice President, Sharon Greysen. “Our Board fully supports her decision. Lynne’s action ensures our organization is removed from any real or perceived conflict of interest during the election.  We wish her the very best in her pursuit.”
